Overview
2009 will see the return of this strategic event,
which was attended by over 250 key CIO and IT
decision makers in 2008. We are proud to announce
the integration into this major event of the CIO
Conference by CIO magazine which now creates New
Zealands premier CIO event. The logic behind
this consolidated partnership is the nature of
the value each party brings to the event and the
value this has for the industry as a whole:
This is a seminal event for CIOs and leading
technology players in New Zealand and brought
together many key decision-makers and their advisors.
The 2008 Summit was another resounding success,
with over 280 senior attendees enjoying high-level
presentations, leading-edge debate, networking
drinks and the CIO Summit formal dinner! We enjoyed
superb sponsor support for the event, and thank
them for their commitment to make the event a
success.
IDC, Bright*Star and CIO Magazine's New Zealand
CIO Summit for 2009 will examine a range of topics
of importance to CIOs. We're currently polishing
the agenda for the 2009 Summit - talking to NZ's
leading CIO's to uncover the key topics and themes
that will make the 2009 event even better. This
work is being done in consultation with a panel
of hand-picked CIO representatives as an advisory
council to ensure that the sessions and content
delivered are the most relevant to NZ CIOs in
2009.
The CIO Summit 2009 Advisory Council will be
announced shortly!
If you'd like to put in some suggestions, be
they topics that are close to your heart or how
we can make the Summit a great experience for
